How It Works

From creating your account to receiving your compliance certificate — here's exactly what happens, step by step.

1

Create your account and add your properties

Sign up free in minutes. Add each of your buildings and tell us what fire safety assets they have — dry risers, fire hydrants, or sprinkler systems. Include the date each was last tested and we take it from there.

No credit card needed to register.
2

Top up your credit balance

Add credit to your account by bank transfer — there are no contracts, no retainers, and no minimum spend. Credits never expire and can be used across all your properties and service types.

Credits are deducted only when a booking is confirmed.
3

We remind you when tests are approaching

The platform tracks every asset automatically. As each test approaches its renewal date, you'll receive email reminders — no calendar entries, no spreadsheets, no chasing required.

Make sure credits are topped up before the due date.
4

An engineer is assigned automatically

Every morning the system checks all assets across all your properties. Any asset due within the next 14 days has an engineer assigned automatically — provided you have the relevant credits available. You'll receive a notification and the visit appears in your portal. No action needed from you.

Credits are deducted automatically when an engineer is assigned.
5

A qualified engineer attends

Your engineer arrives on the agreed date and carries out the full test to BS 9990 (dry risers), BS EN 671-3 (hydrants), or BS EN 12845 (sprinklers). They'll contact you or the site contact if access is needed.

All engineers are fully qualified and carry appropriate insurance.
6

Your certificate is issued the same day

On a pass, your digital compliance certificate is generated immediately and stored in your portal. Download it any time — for inspections, insurance, or audits. If defects are found, you receive a clear itemised remedial quote to review online.

Certificates are stored permanently in your portal.

What if a defect is found?

If a test fails or the engineer spots a problem, here's what happens next.

Engineer notes the defect during the visit
Itemised remedial quote appears in your portal — no charge for the quote
You review and accept or decline online
We schedule a remedial visit and carry out the work
A pass certificate is issued once the system is compliant

There is no charge for the remedial quote — you only pay if you choose to proceed with the work.

Common Questions

Do I need to be on site during the test?

Not necessarily. Many clients provide a key holder or site contact. As long as someone can provide access on the day, you don't need to attend yourself.

How long does a test take?

A dry riser annual pressure test typically takes 45–90 minutes per riser. A visual inspection is usually 30–45 minutes. Fire hydrant tests are around 30 minutes per hydrant.

What if the test fails?

You'll receive a clear itemised remedial quote in your portal. There's no charge for the quote — review it, accept if you're happy, and we'll arrange the remedial work and re-test.

Can I manage multiple buildings?

Yes — you can add as many properties as you need, each with different assets and test schedules. Your portal gives you a full overview across your entire portfolio.

How quickly can I get a test booked?

In most areas we can schedule within 5–10 working days. If you have an urgent requirement, call us on 0161 821 0662 and we'll do our best to prioritise.
